“… would a rose not smell as sweet?” Yes, it would. So why would I after two years of querying Crippled with the main characters Vincent and Nathaniel change his name to Nicolas?!?! Well, it’s all a part of the editing process and after contemplating translations, I realised, that Nathaniel means “gift from God” and Vincent means “victorious”.
